While the second installment of the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court (with A. Lange & Söhne as the presenting sponsor) may not have been as sun soaked as last year, it certainly didn't disappoint. For three days, from last Friday, the gardens at Hampton Court Palace become home to over 300 of the finest and rarest cars around, from 1896 pioneers to present day supercars. Uniquely, the Concours of Elegance winner isn’t selected by a panel of judges, but by the owners of the cars themselves. Each participant is asked to vote on the other models on display to decide which car is considered to be the "Best of Show."
A. Lange & Söhne are the headline sponsor, and unlike many watch and event hook ups, this one certainly felt authentic in its understated nature. Anyway, enough of me, I know you just want to see the good stuff ... enjoy!
