Greetings, gentles all, and welcome to yet another edition of that horological extravaganza that we (and we hope, you) call Hey, HODINKEE! where you, the unwashed but eager masses, ask questions and we, the terminally exhausted elite of the world of le haute horlogerie, try to answer. Never have so many staked so little on the opinions of so few.
This week's questions are notable for not only their brevity, but their simplicity and urgency, as well. One reader writes in to ask, how does one keep one's preciouses safe from the greedy fingers of interloping marauders? Another wants to know if there is a watch, under a certain price, capable of withstanding the slings and arrows of outrageous golfing? And a slightly more scholarly enquirer has noticed that some German watches have on their dials the legend "I/SA" – what can be the meaning of this cryptic glyph?
And finally, one reader/viewer wants to know if Jack Forster, our host, and the master of keeping horological plates in the air as long as no one looks too closely, has a favorite rainbow watch (cue Judy Garland).
As always, we hope you enjoy the show! And remember, keep those questions coming. If you'd like to see your questions featured in an upcoming episode, email us at hey@hodinkee.com.
