Watches in the Wild season three is coming soon – on March 13, to be specific. But we're so excited about this one that we just couldn't wait. So last night we rented out a movie theater in New York and hosted a whole bunch of friends, colleagues, and you – members of the Hodinkee Community.
The popcorn was popping. The drinks were flowing. We even unveiled some movie posters (movie posters!) as we prepared to screen the first two episodes in front of a live audience – the first time we've done something like that…ever. We think of this new season as a multi-part documentary, a proper movie tracking the history and future of American watchmaking. In our extremely biased opinion, it's worthy of the big screen.
After the closing credits rolled, Hodinkee content boss Nick Marino hosted a lively Q&A with Managing Editor Danny Milton, who appears in the first two episodes. James Stacey and Cole Pennington host episodes three and four, and all four installments will appear here on this very website throughout the month of March.
We hope you'll return to watch the videos as they post. In the meantime, please enjoy this Photo Report of a great night with Hodinkee at the movies.
